After 8 books, 3 games and 2 DLC Geralt story came to the end and what's worse there's nothing we could wait for (except the movie - maybe Bagiński won't screw thing up). Somehow I'm not happy to finish DLC because this is the end. It was great to see Regis, and Geralt settling down with Yennefer in the end. I really liked reference to Night to remember trailer and Orianna (although it would be even better if we had a chance to fight her). Here similiar situation - What lies Unseen was probably my favourite quest, but Beyond Hill and Dale was hilarious (Wolf on Hangover and Three not so little pigs really made me laugh). I always loved in W2 that you have to play at least 2 times to experience both Roche and Iorveth path. B&W was somehow special because I had a feeling of farewell to the character. I liked Blood and Wine even more than HoS and I liked HoS a lot. First of all thanks CDPR, I blame you for sitting half of a weekend in front of computer (luckily there's still few hours of Sunday in front of me so I can ejnoy the great weather ). I liked bosses from HoS better, but Wicked Witch and Dettlaff delivered some fun. New and old new monsters are great, especially bruxas and alps. Mutation system is very intersting, but OMG, it makes already too easy fights even easier. Gameplay/Usability: A lot of good tweaks, love it. Some minor characters are just a pure gold, like that jail mate Dettlaff is charismatic in his vampire ways, good enough. Syanna is a nice touch on Renfri 2.0, she's very good at it. Regis is closer to himself, but not quite there in my perception. Special shout out for some side quests, like a bank quest or the one with ponderous dialogues with Roach - some of the best stuff in whole game and trilogyĬharacters: Well, I still don't know who was that woman called Duchess - she had only glimpses of her persona from the "Lady of the Lake" good character, but barely Anna-Henriette. Slow start, but then the confict escalates quickly and in surprising ways, love it The Land of Thousand Fables was absolutely amazing. I prefer first type on narrative, but nonetheless B&W is bloody awesome. Story: while HoS was focused on personal stories, B&W is all about scenery and big scale action. Finished 3 endings so far (sisters reconcile, both dead, Syanna's dead), currently on my second walkthrough - will choose other options in all side-quests and will seek Orianna's help this time.
